How Andrews dream became a reality

Why
Recognizing an unmet need in the market, we identified an opportunity to provide premium solutions coupled with dependable backup services. Our vision was to bridge the gap in the market by offering high-end products and ensuring our customers receive reliable support.

With a comprehensive background spanning approximately 16 years in the irrigation and water industry across Queensland, we not only observed the demand for superior solutions but also understood the intricate dynamics of the sector. This extensive experience fuelled our commitment to address the industry’s needs and deliver effective solutions.

How
Despite the excitement of launching our own business, assembling a capable team posed a significant challenge. Leveraging our passion for the industry, Lauren transitioned from her 18-year teaching career to handle Admin/Sales. Additionally, we were fortunate to have Wal Cagnin join us, contributing his wealth of knowledge and experience. Together, we formed a dedicated team working collaboratively to turn our dream into reality.

Lauren
Director/Sales/Administration
Lauren Huth, the wife of industry expert Andrew Huth, transitioned from her impressive 18-year teaching career to become a dynamic force in Admin/Sales. As the Director/Sales/Administration for FNQ Water, Lauren applies her strong administrative and sales skills to drive success in the water industry. With a background rooted in education, she brings a unique perspective to her role, combining her passion for effective communication and organization with a dedication to the water sector. Lauren’s commitment to excellence and adaptability showcases her ability to thrive in diverse professional landscapes, making her an invaluable asset to FNQ Water.
Andrew
Director/Sales Manager/ Project Designer
Andrew Huth brings over 15 years of industry expertise to his work, having operated in various locations across Queensland. His wealth of knowledge encompasses the intricate details of the irrigation and water industry, showcasing his proficiency in various aspects. Andrew’s expertise spans irrigation techniques such as drip, under tree systems, pivots, automation, as well as filtration and pump systems. His competence extends to stock water solutions, covering tanks, troughs, solar pumps, engine-driven pumps, and monitoring systems. Andrew is well-versed in diverse pump systems, catering to residential, agricultural, commercial, and stock water needs. Additionally, he excels in designing solutions for domestic, rural, agricultural, broad acre, and stock water applications. Known for his commitment to quality installations and repairs, Andrew Huth stands as a seasoned professional in the field, ensuring excellence in every aspect of his work.
Wal
Sales and Project Design
Wal Cagnin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales, installation, and service, specializing in pumping, irrigation, and machinery. With a proven ability to quickly establish rapport with clients and colleagues, Wal excels in contract negotiations, preparation of quotations, and supplying to overseas clients. His expertise extends to statewide metering processes, inventory management applications, and catering to the FNQ mining and boating industries. Wal’s career, highlighted by his role as a Metering Project Support Officer at the Department of Environment & Resource Management, showcases his commitment to excellence and his ability to manage projects with precision. Seeking a new challenge, Wal is an energetic and focused individual, eager to contribute his technical and people management skills to a results-driven organization.

KALAHRI FARMS
Full system design, supply for avocado planation in Mutchillba, west of Mareeba. This design included 2 new SunWater off takes, 2 matching pump sheds with filtration, fully automated fertigation systems with 3 solution tanks, hydraulic agitation and precise injection, PVC mainlines, stainless steele valve hurdles. PVC submains, poly laterals and under tree sprinklers.
RN FARMS
Custom design transportable turn-key pump station inside an temperature controlled A Grade shipping container. Fitted out with 2 vertical multi-stage pumps controlled by dual variable speed drives run as a ‘master and slave’ system with automatic screen filter. System is mounted in a temperature controlled environment for the long jeopardy of the equipment. This multipurpose unit is FULLY TRANSPORTABLE to any site location with quick and easy connection, and can be sized to suit application.
WROTHAM PARK
Electric/solar pumping system with a positive displacement, belt-driven pump unit consisting of a 2.2kW 3 phase electric motor mounted onto a custom built poly pontoon. A 10 panel terrace array frame with Australian made 390 watts solar panels accompanies with system which converts 390 watts to 3 phase power to supply the floated pump unit. This system offers a cost effective replacement for existing ‘diesel run’ water transfer pumps. It also offers a generator input for in times of need.
